Aloha! We got to hike around the beautiful Lyon Arboretum and learn about many different plants; invasive and native. We ate some cool fruits such as mountain apples and we helped pull the invasive plants, mycelium! It started to rain but we learned so much about conserving the native flora and all the important work they do at the Lyon arboretum to help ensure the survival of the species, through seed cultivation and careful maintenance!
